The send-off, handled

Questions,
answered.

Everything about the card, the concierge, the cities, and holding your weekend on the waitlist.

01The basics
What is GROOMS?
GROOMS plans and runs the whole bachelor weekend for you — the itinerary, the tables, the rooms, and the money. You pick the weekend; a real concierge (the Desk) books and manages everything, and one pre-funded crew card covers the spend.
Who is it for?
The groom, the best man, or whoever got stuck planning. If you're organizing a send-off and don't want to run a spreadsheet or chase eight guys on Venmo, GROOMS is built for you.
Is it live yet?
We're launching soon and opening founding-host slots by weekend — five per weekend. Right now you can hold your weekend on the waitlist — no commitment and no money — and the Desk reaches out as your date gets close.
02The money & the card
How does the crew card work?
Everyone chips in their share up front, and it all lands on one pre-funded card for the weekend. You swipe at the bar, the table, the tee box — every line writes itself to a shared ledger, so no one fronts a deposit or gets chased later.
Is it a real card?
Yes — a real, pre-funded commercial card that works everywhere major cards are accepted. It's issued through our banking and payments partners; GROOMS runs the program, it isn't the bank.
What happens to unspent money?
Whatever the crew doesn't spend goes right back to each person's share after the weekend. You're never charged for a pool you didn't use.
Can everyone see the spending?
Every swipe is ledgered and visible to the crew in the app, so the money stays clear — no mystery tabs, no awkward math on the flight home.
03The weekend
What cities can we go to?
We've curated twelve cities to start — Scottsdale, Nashville, Cabo, Aspen and more — each fully vetted end to end. We're adding new ones all the time.
Can we build our own trip?
Absolutely. If your city isn't on the list, tell the Desk where and when and Jillian will scout the venues, lock the tables, and build the whole weekend around your crew.
What kind of activities?
Steak and cigars, tee times, rooftop pours, yacht days, whitewater, poker nights, clay shooting — all managed, booked, and paid before you land. You just show up.
04The concierge
Who is the Desk?
The Desk is your dedicated human concierge — not a chatbot. Jillian holds your crew's fund and the authority to spend it, so she can book, fix, and confirm on the spot.
What can the concierge handle?
Reservations, last-minute adds, a blown plan, a late flight, a table that needs moving — you text her like a friend and it's handled, all weekend long.
How fast does she reply?
Minutes, in practice. One person is with you start to finish and already knows your plan, so there's no re-explaining to a queue.
05Booking & waitlist
What does locking a weekend do?
It holds your date on the waitlist as a founding host. It's free, takes about a minute, and creates no obligation — it just gets you in line before slots fill for that weekend. You're not committed to the weekend you pick.
Does it cost anything now?
No. Holding a weekend takes no card and no money. You only fund the trip once you and the crew decide to move forward.
When can we actually book?
As launch nears, the Desk reaches out to the weekends held for each date to confirm details and open booking. Nearest dates go first.
How do cancellations work?
Because a held weekend isn't a confirmed booking, you can release it any time before you fund the trip. Once booked, cancellation terms follow each vendor's policy — the Desk walks you through it up front.

Still just a beer
away from booked.

No commitment, no money — just hold the weekend before the group chat picks a bad one.
